God damn, I finally discovered this thing, can't believe I never gave it a try but it is by far my favorite synth right now, such versatility.
Anyone else use this? It's bananas. |

anyways, i use it for a lot of things... on my last track i used it on top of a bassline for some great movement.... it's dreamy, its stabby, it's dirty, it's got a great amount of overtones and not THAT big of a CPU hog.
massive, blue, predator and albino(god i love rob papen) seem to be my go to's for everything right now(and my virus ti, duh) |

I'm selling mine as well as fm8, and absynth 3. NI is a top collection but it definitely doesn't match my requirements when it comes to cpu usage. Plus, now with Live racks, I haven't been using them for more than 6 months. I'd better reinvest the money into new plugins or controllers
Interested? mail me. |

Youre selling some plugins because they use too much CPU... yet you use Ableton? lol. |

Sorry, had to explain. Massive is a HOG, it uses 30% CPU at least with 3 or 4 note on messages, which makes it unusable during my live shows (too risky). And I can simply make any kind of patch with live racks now, as I have sampler and operator options. So I just keep plug-ins that I effectively use. I have EI2XT too that's for sale, incompatible with mac intel.

Sounds like you already made up your mind, but to everyone else who has massive, get the upgrade and set the quality setting to an appropriate level for your computer. It helps a bit. Also, were yo saying that FM8 uses a lot of CPU for you?? I don't find that at all... Although I do have a pretty decent computer I guess. |

Lol, there are a few options here, the first of which is that this was a totally random comment, the second being that I was just talking to airwave... And knowing this forum and the trance scene in general, thats actually possible:p In which case, I would have to congratulate him for a great album in trilogique (which was the last release of his I picked up) and tell him to keep up the good work:D |

macbook core duo 2ghz, an axiom keyboard, and m-audio bx-5's @ home, and mdr7506 headphones on the go.
FM8 is quite decent but I can easily get the same results with operator for what I want, so it's quite redundant.
