Let me describe.

To the North of Pretoria, where I live, is bushveld roaming with wild african animals, To the east is the Lowveld, with its hot hot weather and tropical fruit etc, to the south is (Yeah Johannesburg, which is a dirty, polluted city to my opinion) the highveld, with its savannah fields and to the west is some more bushveld, further on a desert, and then the diamond coast, an area fenced and defended tightly, as diamonds lie around like gemstones on its sand, or so they say. 3 hours' drive and you are in the mountains, 6 hours and you are at Durban, city on the east coast, with its warm ocean, surfers, babes, and the most amazing tropical sealife along the north eastern coast. Cape Town is like another country, cause it is far from us, 1200 kilometers or so, and you have to pass through the Karoo, a flat barren desert-like land. Cape town and the Cape coast is amazing. The friendly Capetonians speak differently too. "It's like, uh, you know, cool, eh bru". South Africa is a land of sunshine, a world in one land. You are welcome to come over...

1. Bring Dollars and Pound, You'll live like a king.
2. With that kind of money hire 3 Bodyguards for each of you, and a bulletproof car.
3. Be patient, as Africa has its own time.
4. Bring 3 of everything, as you'll most propably be mugged, hi-jacked, robbed or cheated out of your stuff at least twice.
5. If you leave your own country, have your last will ready, just for in case.

But if you want to come to our clubs, come to Pretoria and Johannesburg, because that's where the real parties are at!

Cheers

I live in Ecclefechan in Scotland, a village
7 miles from the small town of Lockerbie
(which is not a popular place for a good reason) and 17 miles from the England border.

Where I live has it's good sides and it's bad sides. Weatherwise it's pretty poor! In Winter days are short and there's lots of rain and rarely any snow, but when it does it can be half way up my front door! The area isn't popular with tourists and is known of by them as "Robert Burns Country". Recently there have been roads closed and lots of smoke from cattle and sheep burning due to foot & mouth disease which has affected my area. About 10 miles South from me is the Solway Coast which looks across to Cumbria and The Lake District annd 30-40 miles West is the Galloway Forest, a large man made forest. The scenery is quite nice and the good thing is, everyone knows wach other, so there's little chance of fighting with somebody you don't know! Before MP3's in the internet I used to travel 13-17 miles for music, but I don't need to anymore due to MP3's! For clubbing it's awful, absolutely nowhere near me and local radio is e, all ty pop! There is little work, only in surrounding towns and many young people accept the dreadful job of being fishermen in the Solway Firth!

So there's a small summary of what it's like living where I am!
