ive been mixing for a couple of years now. last night was a big night for me, i joined a dj competition winner of which gets to play the primetime slot on a given date. to tell you guys i was a bit disappointed...the biggest mistake i ever did was not to know the feel and funcionality of mid range dj equipment...i own a pair of cdj1000mk3`s and djm800..that night we had to use a djm500 and a pair of cdj800mk1`s..what im saying is i cudve been better if i knew how to use diffrent dj gear. i was expecting it wudve had the same feel as to what ive got for the reason that they were also pios. i was totally wrong. plus i had a hard time playing on a big system as i was only a bedroom dj all those years and before all this i have only spun in small bars/parties bringing my own gear... oh well...il just do better next time the competition aint over!!
