What's it all about? Wakestock seems to have settled into its new home out of cottage country, and the concerts continue to threaten to eclipse any actual sporting events going on. Dude, where's my wakeboard?
Who's on stage? Reunited heavy-rock act (don't call them nü-metal) Deftones; ska-punkers Goldfinger; hip-hop veterans De La Soul and Del Tha Funkee Homosapien; and, we assume, a whole lot of extreme sports people.
Who's the crowd? Athletes and the scantily clad women and men who love them; young folks for whom the word “dude” isn't a word, it's punctuation.
