'ved just finished my second mix which I plan on playing on example fm. Had some problems with a bit slow response times with the Example F.M. team and getting a little bored of not having anyone actually hear my mixes so you get to hear this one before it airs. This is quite different to last weeks (mainly psytrancey stuff like perhaps has it started?) with lots of different styles and twists and moods. I hope you enjoy this weeks and any comments would be appreciated.

Tracklist below (not all the same style this time ;) +rep to cybernetika for making such an awesome tune as corrosion comeplete... sets the mood so well. All comments appreciated. There were a few minor musical errors caused by using mixed cd's but they are hardly noticeable... I'll make sure to watch out for that (and edit out accordingly) next time. BTW this has got a few "your listening to example FM" things because that was needed for radio show and I haven't edited them out. Also some slight pausing on the shpongle tracks (in this case I want them mixed but sorry about pauses).

Didn't heared it yet but reading the tracklist it seems strange to me how can you mix Astral Projection - Chaos after Vibrasphere - Desert Plain, imo they are quite different tracks in mood... Actually I am gonna hear the mix just to hear that :)
EDIT: Why you didnt mix the tracks? |

Well actually I thought Vibrasphere and Astral Projection actually go quite well together. They both have very clear sounds (vibrasphere being a bit more so though) and besides I needed to bring the energy back in after that part so thats why. I've certainly gone for the mood change a few times with this anyway (sad to happpy/fast to dark psy to scarey dark psy). I'm not really a fan of those not so dynamic all full on mixes where nothing changes in mood. Same thing with LSD... it had a quite clearish sound (at the start and end anyway)
[Edit] I didn't mix some of the tracks because they didn't need it... others I have in particuler the shpongle ones came pre mixed |
