new 200s or used 1000s

I have enough money for a new set of CDJ200s but I'm tempted to get a set of used 1000s (MKII probably) off ebay. What would you go for?
Of course I'd only use 100% feedbackers.
How does the jogwheel compare between the 2? I found the 200 not so great, the pitch seemed to bend far too suddenly.

1000's.

The pitching is hella-sudden on all cdj's i've ever used

Well if you have the money than go for the used Cdj-1000. There are 2 up on ebay from a guy i know.

They are MKII.

I can assure you that either way you will be happy, however 1000's will be a better investment in the long run.

1000s. Or a good thing would be to think about 800s, which are nearly the same as the 1000s.

to be honest I prefer having .02 pitch increments as opposed to the scratch wheel/jog wheel.

hmm forget that, cant afford the 1000s. i might be able to get 800s second hand though

i have the cdj 200s. You dont need the .02 pitch control to beatmatch accurately. The .05 is more than adequate. Don't let that bear on your decision.

I love my cdj 200s, then again i learned how to spin on them and would use the vinyl mode sparingly on cdj 1000s if i had them anyway.
If you want a vinyl feel, or you feel the need for a lot of saved cue points i say go for the 1000,s

but if you dont care save some money, go with the 200s, they are pretty solid too

Go for 800 (mk2's if possible) but if not the 200s will be great too.

Its an extremely nice feature on the 200s... why wouldnt you factor it into your opinion?

I can mix smoothly on .1 if necessary, do I like to? Hell no.

Exactly. I've mixed with 0.05% occasionally on my CDJ 200s and knowing that a certain track should be at +0.68% and the closest I get is +0.70% keeps me adjusting the pitch wheel ever so slightly every few seconds to maintain a smooth mix (Maybe I'm just a perfectionist :p). 0.05% is possible, yeah, but each person needs to consider the pitch resolution factor before spending their $$$.
