Back again for another monthly promotional mix! Last month's got great feedback from everyone, thanks to all! Still haven't heard it? Grab it here: http://andrelefort.com/media/mp3/An...7_Promo_Mix.mp3
Overview:
Having gone progressive last month, this month sees me back in form with some peak time, driving and dark Trance. Starting out with some recent favorites, highlighted by two of my favorites of 2007: Dave 202's Torrent and the Richard Durand Remix of 'The Fall'. The next segment of the set quickly drifts off into the darker side of Trance, highlighted by two obscure, yet incredibly driving, songs: Krismah's 'Heroes' (Alex Roy on remix duties) and Ricky T & Antex's 'Groove Machine'. Both amazing songs, incredibly tech influenced and sure to rock any floor at peak time. Continuing to drive the energy from there, the last segment takes on a slightly more euphoric edge, while still maintaining a healthy dose of Tech. Highlighted by the very last song, an incredible remix from Eddie Sender, the set ends leaving you wanting more, but being very satisisfied at the same time.
Hope everyone enjoys the set, unlike previous sets, this set is 70 minutes long and encoded at 224 kbps. Longer and better, what more could you possibly want?

I didn't really like the start of the set (tunes 1 - 3) especially that remix of lethal industry with the audience screaming...
But I quite enjoyed the part from track 4 till 12! Good that you put 05. Active Sight - Time Goes By (Fred Baker Remix) in it and track 11 is a very wicked remix that I haven't heard before :eyes:
Thanks for sharing this mix! :) |

Glad you enjoyed the last section of the set, that is where I decided to bring out the big guns. First few tracks are tracks I really enjoy, but they pale in comparison to the energy generated from tracks 5-12.
Thanks for the kind words! |

listening to it now. I like the tracklist alot! some of the mixes are kind of noticable but practice makes perfect. overall I like!
I was thinking if it would sound good to play John O'Callaghan - Bodycheck over Paul Webster - Corruption. |

Yeah, the technical side of this set certainly wasn't my best effort to date. But I felt the songs definitely made up for any minor slips in mixing.
Glad you liked it overall, I'll have to check out Bodycheck! Thanks! |
