London 2012 - Olympic Games Logo

"The logo for the 2012 Olympics has been unveiled in the most significant move since London won the Games.

The jagged emblem, based on the date 2012, comes in a series of shades of pink, blue, green and orange and will evolve in the run-up to the Games. "

I personally think it's a bit . My 3 year old cousin could have done a better job of this. An estimated £3 Billion will be spent in the run up to the games. I guess they ran out of money.

What you all think of this amateur effort?

What a piece of . I think it's a mockery that london is spending all this money on the olympics when we have such a poorly funded prison service.
Sunsnail
I don't understand the random disconnected square in the center.

It seriously, seriously looks like one person giving another head.

Or maybe Rorschach was onto something...
SuspicionVandit

Maybe that's what the commitee thinks of Africa :)

It looks like crack.

What are those dates in the sig for DA?
_Nut_
I liked the Chicago one before they had to take it away (since Chicago still isn't the official city)

That's a least a half-decent attempt. Surely the London Olympic Commitee must have received hundreds of potential logo's. I really don't think this is the extent of the UK's artistic talent. If it isn't graphically pleasing, it could at least have some sort of deep meaning behind it :)

That pic is the perfect blend of Chicago and the Olympic flame.
