im thinkin of a speak machine . So you can enter a text and than you click speak ! and than you will hear a female or male voice.

really? i used this in one of my more recent tracks... Marcus Schossow - Clicky (Joey medina remix).. i havent heard anything negative about the voice and with some eq/editing you can make it work well i think.
Subtle
I think that was very convinient and easy to use.. cant expect much more of a computer generated voice free straight from the net.

If you're on Windows, just use Microsoft Sam in the Accessability options. Easy to record outgoing audio into Ableton too.
DJ RANN
Try Vocaloid Leon and Lola

Go and meet some females and record them. Text to speech can be cool, but you basically can't use it in more than 1-2 songs or its going to get lame.

Craigslist :p

Ok seriously... MySpace is a good start if you're socially retarded. Otherwise ask friends if they know any singers and get them to hook a brutha up. Also getting in contact with singing teachers, if you know any, is obviously a pretty good idea!

Singing teachers are like a preset bank, you just tell them what you're looking for and they give it. Good resource!
