Plain question, after a lot of research..please post your opinions!
..and compare with other good ones such as the Mdr-V700DJ or the Sennheiser HD 280 PRO.

plain answer: yes ;)

I can't compare, 'coz the only headphone I have is mdr-v6...

Its just that this has been discussed repeatedly in the Dj section.

The HD280's blow the 700's away but the mdr-6's beat the senns if ya dont mind not being able to swivel your headphones.

Blows your V6 and blows your Sennes

In my opinion you can't give a clear answer to this question. It's matter of preference, what you think is the best, won't necessarily be the best for someone else. It's like asking what's the most beautiful color in the world, there will always be different opinions.

I own both the RPDJ-1200 and the Sennheiser HD-25. And they both have their advantages and flaws. The HD25 sounds crispier than the RPdj, but then again the Technics blocks away external sounds way better.

I did headphone shopping earlier and wanted the MDR-v6's but availability was slim and it would have cost me and arm and a leg
I paid 140 CND for my V700's and I love them
but that is not to say if I could get the others cheaper that I wouldnt give them a chance just that it was convenient for me to get the other ones

i have both 280's and v6's... and i'll just say i dig v6's way more, even without all the swivelin motions and such
