I use sony acid pro to record my sets but Im having trouble figuring out why it doesnt detect any sound when I try to record. I know there is input coming from the speekers because there is sound on my speekers but when i press record it says theres no signal. Ive tried chaning every setting, checked the wires and such and still cant figure it out. Any1 can help?

If you've legitamately purchased the software then you should be entitled to support from the Sony software support team.

Probably a frequently asked support issue.

I think support cost 2$ a minute or something...

That sucks - support for purchased software should be free.

One of the reasons to pay for software is to get support free. it - I'll just download a dodgy copy if thats the way they're gonna play it!

I found what the problem was...... for some reason it doesnt record from line anymore and I have to use the mic input:conf: I didnt make any changes like that and ive used the same settings since ive bought it a year ago ... computers are so weird

if you record from the mic input you're not gonna get very good quality. you should try tweaking your settings to get it to record from line in. ;)
