Still waiting to hear back....they don't really have all the details yet and I am probably going to be the last to know :P
I can handle myself pretty well on alchohal so I am not too worried about it. If anything it may take the edge off because I am kinda nervous :toothless
I just went to lunch and bought a new shirt and some hair dye so I can touch up my roots :D
I am sure the documentary will feature some crowd shots so I recommend that everyones dress they're best ;) :tongue2 |

| Are they really shutting down at 4? I'm hoping that's just b/c they dont have big headliners like this often so they do it on those nites, but for something like this i'd have to think they'd be open longer... |

| i believe this night was originally to be Cosmic Gate & Scot Project..Scot was supposed to be here tomorrow but had problems with the Visa so they added J00F..if Scot was to spin after Cosmic,it would probably be on the best parties ever if not the best in my book |

i'm gonna run with this for a moment...maybe if they can stop those damn somalian / ethopian pirates (and yes they do exist) the poor could actually receive the aide the world sent them. |

is this serious?? You think somali and ethopian pirates steal all the aide being sent there? Or do you think aide isn't being sent because countries don't want the pirates to steal it?? I find either hard to believe. In the first case i would think the pirates couldn't possibly steal enough to actually put that big of a dent in shipments, and if they could we simply aren't sending enough aide anyway. In the second case i think countries (especially the US) send navy ships to protect shipments of aide. I'm pretty sure one of the Navy's missions in the indian ocean is to thwart pirating. |

I don't think it I KNOW it, there are a number of pirate in the Indian Ocean who steal food being sent to these countries. Some NGOs won't send ships over to those areas because of the danger placed on their people hence supplies do not get to the people who need it. Also, to my understanding sometimes groups try to go through Kenya and right now Kenya has shutdown it's borders between it and Somalia so food is sitting in trucks going bad. Seeing that I'm Kenyan, my parents read Kenyan newspapers everyday plus I occasionally read a national online Kenyan newspaper I would like to think I know what I'm talking about. |

| ^^Wai is absolutely right. I had this huge interest in the stuff going on in Darfur, and because of that I have been reading up on the crises in Sudan and the other regions of Africa. From what I have read, Wai knows what she is talking about. |
