Stay away from polish people, they will give you the krakow perogi. This occurs when they hit you on the back of the head with a potato in a sock.May your anal virginity rest in peace. |
mmmm my grandma made a killer perogi. |

sensation white, dance valley, loveparade, etc. any ideas? |
I knew nearshoring was taking off rapidly, but are they moving our festivals to Eastern Europe as well? Damn.
Oh, and skip Sensation White. |

good suggestions so far, thanks. Switzerland sounds perfect for skydiving, I'll look into that. I wasn't too clear in my OP, only about half the trip will be in east/southeast europe, the other half will be in Germanic/western countries. I don't really have an itinerary but I'll be visiting the following countries:
-croatia
-serbia
-montenegro
-bulgaria
-slovenia
-austria
-liechtenstein
-switzerland
-germany
-netherlands
-belgium
-luxembourg

re:sensation...I want to go for the sake of going, even though I hate uplifting epic euphoric trance. maybe I should go to Black instead? oh, and also on the list is hitting the casino royale in Montenegro where that $150million poker game was in james bond :D |

Bear in mind that there's a million other adventurous things to do in Interlaken besides skydiving. There's canyoning, ice climbing, rafting, hiking, skiing, etc. Go in the summer. It's the perfect place to go to after seeing cathedral after cathedral after cathedral in western/central europe. If you're going to be in Salzburg Austria, visit the world's largest ice caves:

And not to be a downer, but if you pass through Linz visit the Mathausen concentration camp. It's def off the beaten tourist path and it's confusing to get there but worth it.
In Croatia there are several islands south of Split in the Adriatic that are worth visiting. Damn cheap too. |

I'll definitely check out the ice caves, thanks for mentioning it.

First of all, Sensation is not an 'uplifting epic euphoric trance' event. There won't be a single trance DJ on the line-up this year.
Second of all, it's been sold out for a while.
Don't go to Black either. In fact, avoid parties where the organization clearly states beforehand that 'it's not about the music' and tries to blow 60-odd euro out of your pocket just to get in with 29.999 other sheep all dressed the same. |

I thought cheesy epic trance was all they listen to/play in the netherlands? good point about it being sold out though, oh well. and yeah, czech/slovakia would have been awesome but I couldn't work it into this trip ftl.
I'm booking a 13,000ft skydive in interlaken tonight :D expensive but worth it. I don't mind sleeping under a bridge a few nights to make room for this. |
