Why can't Markus's tracklists for live shows be like this. Barring a few tunes, it's deep and dark twinkle prog trance and house. This is what I like him for, playing that 2004 Coldharbour sound. Any more when I see his live show tracklists they look like dated ASOT tracks. Blech. This is why I'm so apprehensive about going to one of his shows.

Markus has ALWAYS had a distinct sound, his own that no one could touch & he's only gotten better with time. Don't get me wrong I also love his 2003-05ish dark proggy trance era but I can never see he is doing bad now...on the contrary, he just blows me the fuk away when I see him live. He totally blows Armin's gay self out of the water.
Markus > Armin & I don't think Markus sounds ANYTHING related to ASOT :nervous:
but I would LOVE to hear Markus drop Sworn - Treatment Decline (Demented mix) now like he used to back in the days! AH! :D |

No doubt Markus > Armin, but I still see way too many similarities in tracklists for his liveshows and Armin's. Just he seems to play the tracks Armin was playing a few months back. :/
This is all just my opinion though. I really ought to check him out live before I make an across-the-board statement. |
