I realize you probably don't post here all that much - so I'll just say this: Either use the search and look for "Behringer" in the titles of threads in the DJ Booth forum over the last couple of years, read those, and then decide.
Or, if you don't feel like taking the time to do that - just don't buy it and save yourself the headache. Save an extra hundred or two and get yourself a decent entry level mixer instead of settling for this piece of . |

It's funny. for some reason this morning I was searching for Behringer posts, just wanted a laugh I suppose, anyway, there was a reply from you on one and you said that your friend had one and it was really good!!
Oh how times and opinions change over the years! |

The Behringer is crap. I started mixing with the DJX-700 and it was a great starter mixer. My biggest complaints are:
-The faders are not adjusted to account for a logarithmic scale. i.e., when you fade in from 0-7, the output does not increase much. All the volume is in the 7-10 range.
-The effects are crap.
So, i guess it depends on what you want to use it for. For bedroom DJing, i think it's fine. For professional applications, definitely not. |

I think you should definately buy a Behringer DJX700. It will suit a person like you perfectly. Don't listen to anyone on this forum... Behringer stuff is better than Rane etc. and will never break. |
