M-Audio Axiom 25/49 or Edirol PCR-M30/50

I'm looking at picking up an inexpensive midi controller from ebay to get started with producing. For around $100-200 there are these keyboards, the M-Audio Axiom 25 and 49, and also the Edirol PCR-M30 and M50. I'll probably go with the higher models because they're only a tad more expensive. Which would you guys recommend? Or are there other controllers you would suggest for that price range?

Don't worry about knobs and faders, you will most likely never even use them. The pads on the Axiom could be handy though!

Whats most important is how the keys feel. There are 3 types of keys: synth action, semi weighted and hammer action. You should try all 3 in the shop before you buy anything. Some people like the quickness of synth action, some people like the genuine feel of hammer action. Some people like a mix of both with semi-weighted.

I have Axiom 49. I am not complaining, yet.

ditto...

...although sometimes I wish the encoders were smooth, and not clicky. Other than that, the ability to customize individual parameters is great with Live.

I own a PCR-M80. Roland use the same key mechanism they use in their best synths and i like it. I recently had a go on the Korg radias keyboard and it feels cheap compared to the PCR.
