| And I can't sleeep...I made a starbucks run before Soprano's! We got there around 11:15-11:30 Big Mike was on the decks. His set was pretty good. All I remember was Air Conditione. Ferry came on around 12:30 he was OK. He played a lot of new stuff that I didn't recognize but nothing to write home about it. Smile (Dub), Some Public Enemy remix, Rush Hour, Beautiful, Heaven Scent (Downey Remix), Sunlight. Great vibe! Sound system rocks. It was pretty packed when we left around 3:15. I had a GREAT TIME due to the company that I was with. Mike, our conversations are CLASSSIC! :D Kelly, Wai, Molly, Heather, Andrew: I wanna hear how the last hour was. Some of us have to work tommorrow/today. ;) Ooof. |

Ferry never dissapoints! Daphna, the last hour was the BEST hour imo. Ferry took it up a notch. The best moment was when he played caseys Sunlight though, or maybe when he played Smack mY Bitch Up for wai and myself.
The vibe was one of the the best I have encountered in NYC, and its always nice when ferry fakin wants your opinion on things lol :) lol thats hot. I have never been disapointed with a ferry set, so I dont even know why he asked! :) Til the day I die, I swear ferry wins best personality of a DJ award!! always smiling! The guy must be tired as faaaak playing so many nights in a row, and I can truly appreciate him putting forth the effort in NYC after such a long week.

It was pretty much a great night, when we got there 98% of the crowd hugged the bar and avoided the dance floor like the plague. Big Mike played a really good set so some TAs like Sam,Sveta and Heather were holding it down in the front :). After that Ferry came on a bit before 12:30 and threw down another good set. He played a lot of new stuff that I've never heard but definitely played his recent signature tracks (fire, beautiful X 2, etc).
cielo ended up being packed which was eh since the people who were there to be seen or whatevr hugged the bar and avoided dancing but there were so a random number of people that i wanted nothing to do with. i definitely told someone "have you ever heard of the words excuse me?" but other than them nobody directly pissed me off. at the end of the night some guy went to ferry and said "i thought your set was kind of slow" :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: then he asked ferry to pose for a picture!!! honestly his set was not slow and the guy was an idiot.
hightlight: kelly is like why don't you request smack my bitch up. i wanted to hear it last time he was here and she requested it so it was my turn to ask him to play it. he smiles and immediately following that track smack my bitch up came on and the entire crowd went bananas!!! afterwards i thanked him for playing the track and he replies "thank you for reminding me" or somthing like that. Either way I love hearing that, Breakfast - The Sunlight and all the new stuff . Yeah Ferry!!! Thank the lord I have nothing to do tomorow or shall I say today :toothless :toothless :toothless aside from lounging at CP and going to the gym :D |

awesome, u guys are hardcore hehe. im glad it was a great time. tru i did not sleep until 4am myself (insomnia kicked in :( ) but I def would not have been able to function this morning if i had gone to the party.
so Ferry threw down new tracks? awesome. aww, I would have loved to hear Heaven Scent again...booo. can't wait to see pictures and videos!!! :D

nite was great all around last night
id say like 75% of the crowd knew who ferry was and when he was droppin a good ferry track they went nuts, or even when it wassent a ferry track
big mike's opening set was dope hands down i liked him better then jason's set
good dude
ferry had me moving all night long and the last like 30 to 45 min was crazy lotta good techy'er songs which just destroyed the dance floor
good seeing all the nyta's

p.s one of the strangest things i ever seen was at the end of the night
there was a group of people at a table, they left a full bottle of grey goose there lol i was sooo temped to take that ha ha
how they hell u gonna buy a bottle and not even drink it :crazy: |
