If I were to create a logo for myself, or send in examples of work to a company etc.
How can I protect my work/ designs.
I have tried reading through a very big book on design protection but can't make head nor tail of it.
Is there a simple way to copyright my ideas? |

In the UK a designer automatically has copyright on his/her work.
In fact a company you do work for is only legally allowed to use your work for the role they paid for, so if you deigned a flyer for them, they're not allowed to use a scan or pdf on the web. This doesn't matter with logo's 'cos there pretty open ended, but worth considering. |
