| Good converters, anyone ? I tried using Audacity, but I ended up with an mp3 of a few kbs only. |

itunes.
goto:
Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Importing > Import Using > Select your bitrate
then assuming you've already ripped the cd, right click the m4a file > convert selection to mp3 ... or just rip the cd again and it'll do it as an mp3 straight away. |

hey thanx. I installed itunes and changed the preferences. I downloaded the m4a files from one of the forums and I want to play them on my mp3 player. I don't use an ipod. When I right click on the file, it just gives me an option to "Convert selection to AAC". No mp3.
