I'm about to order the audiofire 2 by Echo since my laptop has no PCMIA 2 slot. I will be running the audiofire 2 into a stereo with RCA inputs. My question is do I need this
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/prod...-RCA?sku=333034
which is (1) 1/4 inch going into 2 RCA's, or do I need this
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/prod...ble-?sku=333040
which is (2) 1/4 inch going into 2 RCA's. I've tried to email echo multiple times but have got no response so I thought that I would bring it to the pros :gsmile:. Here is the back of the audiofire 2 also for reference.

that's a tricky one, but i think both might work.

the manual says it supports unbalanced and balanced signals. your signal is going to be unbalanced anyway as it goes to rca. what i don't know is that will it support stereo output from one of the connectors or only mono from both (balanced or not). they're kinda weirdly named too IMO. i'd expect the connectors to be named as L and R, not 1 and 2. anyway i think a safer bet for you would be getting the latter cable, but i won't guarantee that it'll work with it though. :nervous:
