I'm also eyeing the Stanton PLatinum Pak, as I am saving every penny right now. Anyone have this package? How are the STR-80's?? Straight arm ok? i might also upgrade the mixer later to the Stanton Rm3s or the VEstax 275..but thats not gonna be for AWHILE..right now i have to get this equipment and buy RECORDS!! |

If I were u, I would buy Stanton str8-90s. They have a higher torque than the 80's. and they are analog.
btw. each is 300 $ |

I seriously thinking getting a pair of Gemini PT2400 but the Technics SL1200M3D looks good too
Anymore suggestion on what to get with 1000 bucks...........(I'm willing to add a couple hundred to the budget) |

Don't get packs; you're better off shopping and having fun making choices.
Get Techs; and get a decent pair of headphones. You don't have to get a fabulous mixer; you can upgrade later if you're good. |
