This week the debut mix CD of Dutch trance prodigy Menno de Jong, according to DJ Mag the next big thing in trance, will be available in the Netherlands and selected international online CD and download stores. With a lot of exclusive material, a sizzling hot sleeve design and a special bonus CD, this might just be another one of those gems that should be in any trance lovers collection.
In light of the unique melodic, mysterious and quality trance releases on Intuition Recordings a new mix CD series was established to showcase this sound under the header "Intuition Sessions". After labelmanager and owner Menno de Jong had spent a month travelling in the majestic South Africa it was only logical to make this CD a tribute to this experience. Menno fittingly says in part of the story inside the booklet: "Having travelled over 6000km through this beautiful country over a period of one month, this is the musical story of a voyage I will never forget. Listen in, close your eyes, and take this trip with me."
The first CD of this lovely package features 14 brand new, and largely exclusive tracks from Intuition artists and friends, as well as Menno's brand new track 'Nolthando'. Musical masterpieces by young guns and trance legends such as Cliff Coenraad, Kimito Lopez, Jonas Steur, Re:Locate, Maor Levi, Orkidea & Marc Mitchell and many others charm this smooth mix of dreamy tracks.
The bonus CD is a true collectors item: A one time backlog of the first few future classic Intuition releases, unmixed, and perfect . Releases such as Castamara, Tundra and Escape that have kicked off the success story of this Intuitive trance entity are collected conveniently on this disc for you.

I wanted to order the CD, but the only website the CD is available on charged me nearly $50 after shipping, etc. so ya :( |
