If he can squeeze that much out of one gig, then good on him. Personally, I don't think he's worth it as a dj - his mixes haven't impressed me.

As a producer, he's amazing though - I'd defo see him. But not for $40.

For $15-20, I'd probably give it a go.

Yea not the greatest DJ and I absolutely hate some his productions under Eric Prydz...I mean cheese to the max...but some of his PRYDA tracks are awesome!!! And sometimes he plays tracks the will be released 1 year from now...but I guess its like a Benny Benassi thing and depends on the location/venue/city...Benny is known for playing (and making) some of the cheesiest of cheese...yet I've heard some of the best tech-house and techno from him on certain sets he played in Europe....*crosses fingers it is in good venue*

It will NOT be at Black & Blue... It is 100% definitive it will be in a club or afterhours... I know this for a fact since my source has spoken to the agent in charge of his Canadian tour...

As for whether he is flying as "Eric Prydz" has nothing to do with what he will play, that's simply his name... And when he spins, he doesn't spin as Pryda or Prydz or Cirez D. but simply as Eric Prydz... His track set solely depends on the venue where he is playing and how people react to what he plays...

he could spin tech-house-polka under the name Eindride Pryda Snorre.... and i would be there!

He is flying... He was and still is scared of flying, but because of the huge demand for him here in North America, he decided to make a harder effort... He was going to take a boat, but when he found out it would take him 6 days, he decided to arrange something with his agents to fix something on the plane to make him feel the most comfortable possible...

1st class jet + sleeping pills = the best

some hypnosis sessions or something like that would do it

but paying 15 000 or 30 000 for prydz is a little too much

Ha ha, I agree... After his 2 month tour on a luxury bus, he will go back to the UK half a million dollars richer...

From a Swedish interview:

quote:

What plans do you have for the summer?

-Then I’ll do my first US and Canada-tour. I’ll play almost every day throughout October and November. I’ll travel around in a big tour bus, I saw pictures of it yesterday, it’s insane with Jacuzzi and a videogame room, music studio and stuff. It’ll be a blast. Before I’ve always avoided travelling to USA because I hate flying, but now the demand is so big that I can’t say no anymore. I’m gonna fly in friends all the time, especially to Las Vegas and LA, so It’ll probably be lots of fun.

I know that you’ve said that you really don’t like flying. How will you get there?

-To fly over the Atlantic is a lot different from flying in Europe, the airplanes are much bigger and in business class you get your own department, so it’ll probably go fine.
