Oh , I can't seem to get enough of this song...especially after I heard Paul Potts on the British talent show. Packed with emotions :)

I'm sorry to say, but I can't stand the hype about this. Evryone going "omg potts britain's got talentz opera puccini nussun domraz!11omne"

'Nessun Dorma' is to classical musicians what Tiesto's 'Adagio for Strings' is to TAs.

It's over hyped, over played, but the difference is, that Nessun Dorma can be sung well; and Mr. Potts, whilst by no means bad, can not do that movement the justice it requires. I don't rate Pavarotti's versions particularly, either.

Radiohead - Pyramid Song

Ian

Muse - take a bow. first song i saw live from them & the buildup was brilliant. the crowd noise, the hypnotic synths and basically it just moved me.

the riff added at 59 seconds says it all :D

the emotion. the piano. brilliant

Sunburn. the classic, but live? When it can't sound any better, you get this.

And finally, the energy. Sure everyone's heard stockholm syndrome & knights of cydonia by now but as great as they sound live, this wiped the floor with it :D Plus they don't play it live as much so it was a treat to be one to get it
Ian
. just found Newborn live from Pinkpop 2007 in Landgraaf, NL. Montana always argues that the perfecto or timo remixes of muse are good. but this disproves it. the riff is so much of the song, and the bit at the end where matt goes absolutely nuts with an extra riff just gives the track an energy that an electronic remix can't come close to

if you only watch one of my vids here, watch this. then watch the rest :p

Listened. Excellent technique, great stage presence. Completely unmoved, though. Sorry but it did absolutely nothing for me. It lacked any "wow, how emotional" factors, IMHO. YMMV, though.

I hate to say it.. but if only they had a different vocalist. Dunno, I really tried liking Muse on several different occasions but every time I just found them.... TOO tedious for my ears. I just never could appreciate any of the feeling over those ear-pearcing vocals. Both them and The Killers (same story).... and Franz Ferdinand... and Snow Patrol... and My Chemical Romance... and Badly Drawn Boy... and Fallout Boy... and Evanescence... and Avril...and other generic, cookie-cutter synthrock bands aimed at mainstream. They make me cringe.

sorry, I mean no dis.
