I'm doing random health tests pretty soon, they aren't drug tests, just taking my blood for readings on cholesterol and a list full of other I have to do mandatory.
Kinda stupid question but, my question is if blood tests for other matters such as cholesterol ect. / tests not looking for THC will give me any problems when the results come in?
The tests are like a month away, not anything to worry about just wondering. |

i get blood tests every year and i've never had any issues.
i don't think they bother looking for that stuff unless, ya know... they have a reason to. |

| When I first got my internship they did a blood test like that and a urine test for drugs. They didn't look for any drugs in the blood test, just health stuff like you mentioned. |

| They wont look for it. It might show up on the test, but if they are specifically getting a blood sample to test for cholesterol or blood pressure, then thats all they can use it for. |

| also, are the tests being done by your doctor for yearly checkups or whatever? it's not against the law to tell your doctor you've smoked pot. ;) |

| You have to consent to have a drug test performed on you. Unless they specifically tell you they are testing for drugs (which if its a health test, they most likely aren't), they can't do anything to you. There is no way for them to stumble uponTHC in your blood... it has a specific test/procedure to test for it, and thats not what they are looking for (or any other drug for that matter). (unless you are a heavy heroin user and have crazy low RBC count or something, or track marks in your arm :p ) |
