I've recently started watching the UK comedic news topical show 'Mock The Week' and all it's various episodes on Youtube. Here's a clip of one of the Ep's.

Best Comedic show I've watched all year :)

"Spell Mississippi without looking at how we've just spelled it." :stongue:

Looks almost exactly like Who's Line is it Anyway. In fact isn't one of the guests Clive Anderson, the original host of the show?

I was gonna say the same thing and I also prefer it to this. I've only seen Mock of the Week a couple of times but, yeah it's really good.

Yep, he occasionally is involved with the show. It usually has a couple of different comedians on every week. I think i may buy the DVD's that are out at the moment :)

I'd actually preferred this to 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?'. More of the guests on that were American, and the humour used over the pond isn't something I find as funny as some.

Hehe, Frankie Boyle, who used that line, is a up and coming Scottish comedian. Very funny guy :)

why do they start walking up to the mic before the Topic is even announced?

Here's the scenario...

1.) First topic is announced
2.) Comedians come up and do their jokes
3.) A comedian has an idea for it and starts walking up
4.) Unfortunately for him, it's time to switch the topic
5.) He can continue walking up to the mic if he has an idea for the new topic, or he can go back to his place
6.) Lather, rinse, repeat

Rather simple, really.
