| i had fun. i'm interested now to check out his new album. best part of the night was when he played heaven's scent hehe. oh and i saw some of you guys standing by the dj booth but i didn't introduce myself cuz i thought that would be weird me being a noob and all lol. only person i met last night was terry bones. cool dude. |

I drank way to much...
Awesome night.. TA's were out in full force.. Good to see Suzy and Brian, Vic, Colleen, Jason, Trancrgry, Trancebrat, Wilyruk, Wendy, Stan and many more... Ferry kept the place moving all night.. Don't ask me for a tracklist other then Fire and Beautiful.. Afterparty was a blast.. At the end of the night I drove around for an hour trying to find where I was though.. Sorry Wendy!
And now Im off to my AA meeting... |

The man himself FFC put doen a great set at Zinc Bar in Orlando last night. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed it thoroughly and was a great night cap to our 2-yr anniversary. The ONLY thing that went wrong was...
... my battery ran out on my camera because I took to much video and pictures!!!! I am such a dufus. But I can take pride knowing I was rockin' the new FFC t-shirt that I had just received in the mail the day before. When I went to take the picture, he said "I like your shirt. F*** Ferry Corsten." That was funny as hell. Ferry's so chill. But alas, I had no battery life and no picture, but next time I'll get two to make up for it.
Once again great time. I would comment on his music in an edited post or later post.
P.S. Shot out goes to the two local DJs that also put it down before Ferry came on...Great stuff. I think the first guy's name is Sander Mendez. I forget the second guys name, but really good too. |

Alright, so here is my review...
Left Miami and headed to Orlando, made pretty decent time since after all it was a Tuesday!! Got to Zinc Bar exactly midnight and the bastards already jacked up the price from $12 to $20, wtf! ARGH! It's bad enough that I already spent $ for the SECOND time to see Ferry, but those $8 could've been a drink! :P But I digress...
Ok, for those who haven't been to Zinc bar, it's like the same size as BED, probably smaller, but at least at BED they have the DJ booth in the middle, no such luck at Zinc, the dj booth is all the way in the back and at a weird angle so everyone was smushed like vienna sausages!
Ok, so take the vienna sausage thought and add like 100 degrees of heat,so what we have is hot vienna sausages, and although when you warm/cook vienna sausages they are mighty tasty, not in this case!! IT WAS TOO DAMN HOT!!! They had few industrial fans going, but you had to stand in front of them to feel the cool breeze.
I did not drink last night since I had to get on a plane to come to work today but I did buy a bottle of water and it was only $3, not too shabby. I did buy a drink last time for Ferry Part 1 and the drinks were like $5.50, pretty good :)
Ok, onto the main event!!! FERRY!! God I love that bastard! :) His set kicked total ass!! I heard from prior shows that he was too techy and all that, but not last night!! It was an array of genres, and all good may I add!! He did drop Heaven Scent (<3) and of course LEF, Beautiful, and Junk, but he played a new track of his that he has no title for as of yet and OMG!!! TOTAL HOTNESS!! :) Can't wait for it to be released!! People who went help me ID, I am on no sleep here and I can't remember names!
The crowd seemed into the music, everyone was dancing and having a good time. There was a girl swinging around her hair going crazy, I almost had to pop her in the head, but she was enjoying herself so I said screw it, lol.
Shout outs to Javi, Jason, Colleen, Suzy, Brian, Victor, Amber, Terry, Kevin, Ben, Daniel last night! Great partying with you guys! Also it was nice meeting you Stan! And big shout out to Roland from Vast Vision, he was partying it up, glad to see its only his 2nd day in the states and hes partying with the best!
We did have an afterparty at Damian annd Ajia's place (big props and thanks again!!) and Ferry and Jared (thank you both for everything!) swung by and hung out for a bit.
All in all a very good night, except when Ben left me and did not come back and that $35 cab ride sucked ass :P You owe me a drink damn it!!
Oh, 1 more thing, heads up in October, Ferry will be back in Miami (FINALLY) and will be performing at Mansion, yes you heard right, Mansion!
