Steve Porter made up for Sasha's set though.

Nowadays, I'd be frightened as all hell to waste my money on seeing Porter.

+1 to everything you just said, he played denver 2 weeks before atl and it was TOTALLY different.

regardless that night was still a blast - sick time partying w/ all the atlta's :)

I have no respect for Steve Porter. I saw him in Miami last summer and he handed out promo CD's to those of us who showed up kind of early. I thought it was cool at the time, but when I stuck it in my CD player after the show, it was the EXACT same set. I'm not talking about just the same tracks and cuepoints, I'm mean same mixing, effects, and everything to a T. Way to go on stage and press play. Super weak.

I gaurentee you Steve Porter did not go on stage and press play from a pre recorded CD. I know steve very well and there is no way hell he would do something like that

The only dj I've known to do that would be DJ Irene. And let's just say I wouldn't put it past her at all :wtf:

Goa Gil uses DATs and he's the man!

Oh Samwise, you superfluous bubbly subterfuge-ridden youngin'. Hopefully it's worth it -_-

I promise you he did, if not from a CD then from a pre-arranged/pre-mixed ableton set. But that might have just been a bad night. There was a tropical storm warning, so the club was pretty empty. (It was weird seeing Space completely empty.) He could have been discouraged by playing to an empty club.

If you say he's not really like that, I'm willing to give him another try. Everyone deserves a second chance. :)
