Hi everyone,

'TRANCE ID' is out now!

... having been asked many times about easy ways of getting into production and remixing I've decided to team up with Ueberschall to co-produce 'TRANCE ID', an awesome new collection of loops and samples covering various trance genres from Progressive to Tech-Trance. I've provided the contents of 10 of the 40 contruction kits on 'TRANCE ID' which contain everything you need to get started to produce some killer trance tracks - kick drums, snares, hats, drum loops, basslines, fx, sequenzes, pads and much more ... so here's your chance to steal all my best sounds! ;) Click on the sleeve for more info:

'TRANCE ID' in: Japan / Germany / France / UK / USA

'TRANCE ID' is a great piece of kit for all the up-and coming remixers and producers among you, offering a huge variety of 24bit sounds in a 3 Gb sample library, powered by the included Elastik Loop Player wich runs on PC and Mac (stand-alone or as a plugin) and is compatible with all the main platforms such as Cubase, Logic, Nuendo, ProTools etc.:

I've heard a demo of this on de bestservice site, and it sounds good. But I think the concept of construction kits for trance is pretty horrendous :D drums are cool, but hopefully people aren't gonna rip entire layers of synths and pads.
thecYrus
the demo sounds a bit oldschool to me,..

Thats great and all, but dont we want people to sound original and make their own sounds ? cause with those Vengeance sounds and all, we all sound the same.

this is uebershall, so it'll be different from vengeance :D :disbelief

Yeah, this one seems easier to use :wtf:

Although, i must admit i think it looks great and i think alot will use it, but in the long run, its prolly no good.

So whats the deal with the construction kits? I've always wondered for the pads and leads, do you have a whole bunch of notes sampled at different velocities and then you can justplayit like a sample library of a violin? Or are they more like loops or something?
Does this library force you to use its own plugin or can you load it into kontakt for more detailed editing?

Trance ID is loop-based, you get hundreds of drum loops, basslines, chord progressions and so on which you can freely mix with each other and arrange in your host application like logic or cubase. But I guess for most peeps the drum section will will be the most interesting part, you'll never have to look for a fat kick drum again ;) All the percussion-and hihat loops for example are really useful in any track you do, even if you write all the musical parts yourself. Trance ID is just a tool to get you started on a new track, you can create a killer groove and bassline within minutes but then play your own riffs over the top, or write a vocal to go with it etc. All the individual sounds can of course be bounced as audio and then loaded into a sampler like kontact, battery or exs24 if you wanna edit them further or program your own patterns. .. hours of fun ;)

Righto, definately not my type of thing then, but probably good for beginners.
I wish a good producer would make a sample pack of just pads for kontakt (not this proprietry "instrument" stuff) which you could tweek the layers of and stuff... A few single shot drums and it would be gold!. If Midi files were included you'd hit the newbie market as well, some of those guys have no idea how to program their own drums, I know I didn't:p
Then you'd have all the advantages of this sort of set up (in terms of midis being included) but also the flexibility to replace the drum sounds with your own, or use your own patterns with the included drum sounds. That would rock:D
