The City of Toronto and the TTC have come out with a website to see what the public likes and dislikes about the new LRV's that they'll be purchasing to replace the old streetcars and for the proposed lines as well.
View pictures and give your comments.

I think this is a great way to familiarize yourself with the differences in the streetcars we have now and what LRT vehicles look like while voicing your opinion.

It does look nice but its nothing special. So many other cities have great looking 'LRV' systems, but by the time this actually gets put in place they'll seem oudated already... |

regardless of how they look, streetcars are still a pain in the ass...
mainly because they're in the center of the street, so when they stop to pick up riders, both lanes of traffic have to stop and wait. so annoying and inefficient (traffic-wise). |

yup. it's a good thing the new Light Rail routes will have dedicated lanes. |

boarding times will be cut down with the new streetcars due to being able to board at all doors and they will have low floors. this will cut down the time streetcars stop traffic. but in all honesty, how much time do u lose right now |

It sucks balls! Even not during rush hour times when there are parked cars in the right lane...and yoru stuck behind a street car...
I hate street cars...I peresonally think they need to do something to improve the subway service...but what do I know... |
