I heard Preach will come on at 4:30 AM. It'll be in the order of Driss, Preach and Viktor closing. |

Just got back from Circus; it was a great night! The morning started off with Wisnia, moevalith and I with some Caesar salad, hamburger and coffee breakfast at 4:30 AM (Rapido's on Saint-Denis). At about 5:00 AM, we entered the nightclub to catch Preach playing. The club was decently packed and still had room to dance. Moe and I grabbed some energy drinks and hung out in the back, watching Preach spin and the crowd dance. Preach definitely switched styles the last time I heard him play, which was two years ago (heh, I don't go out much!). He definitely delivered a great set, packed with energy from start to finish. I recall the crowd going wild at Smack My Bitch up, among others.
At about 7:30 AM, Wisnia (Viktor) came on and started banging it from where Preach left off. At this point, the crowd was at Viktor's mercy. Track after track, Wisnia delivered a great set and did not disappoint. The dance floor was still alive and did not die up until 9:00 AM. From what I can tell, I wouldn't be surprised if a residency application opens up for Viktor, as he really did an amazing job by handling the crowd after Preach.
I met up with all-nite-freak for the first time: full of energy! :D
Time to catch up on some sleep. I had a hard time going to bed last night... was too excited. *passes out* |

First time at Circus and I ing loved the place, I'll be back many times for sure.
I got there pretty early, like 2:45. Was it Driss that opened for Preach? If so, he played a superb set and really warmed the crowd up nicely. Preach delivered his trademark blend of tech-house, techno and tech-trance and had the crowd owned from beginning to end, with flawless technique all the way through. Wicked night! |
