Good attractions in Europe (nightlife/daytime fun)

Hey,

I'll be backpacking this summer for 2 months on Europe, then 2 (or more) months in Laos/Thailand.

I was hoping to get some suggestions from people who have already traveled to the citys I'll be visiting. I understand there is a europe forum sub-category but I prefer to get the opinions of tourists rather then the locals.

I'll be traveling to these countries, for the most of the citys I hit, I'll be there for a week. Laos will be 2-3 weeks. Thailand will be 3 weeks or more depending on how much I'm enjoying myself.

When you suggest a club/attraction, try to be a bit specific. (ie. Club/Music Style/What night (if possible))

1. United Kingdom (London) - Turnmills Club
2. Belgium (Brussels)
3. Netherlands (Amsterdam)
4. Germany (Berlin, Munich)
5. Czech Republic (Prague)
6. Hungary (Budapest)
7. Greece (Athens)
8. Italy (Florence, Rome)
9. Switzerland (Geneva, Zurich)
10. France (Paris) - Eifle Tower
11. Spain (Ibiza) - Cafe Del Mar, Amnesia, Pacha
12. Laos
13. Thailand

I heard thailand has beach partys nightly in Phuket, any confirm deny? I'm not planning massively for Thailand, Laos since accomidations/food is fairly cheap so I'll be winging my travels in those countries.

Thanks

edit: oh, im specifically interested in fishing at one point in my trip, and possibly bungee jumping.

A very dear friend of mine is in phuket right now. He's been in Thailand for about a week now. He says words can't describe it. THe food, scenery, parties. All night, tourists, backpackers jamming 'till the moon goes down'.

I'll try to post some of his pics this week.

Edit: He said there were a lot of snakes on the beach ?!?

Couldn't determine whether he was being literal or not hmmmm.....

I just realized I need to shorten my stay (in europe) and cut out some of those places. But I will be extending the vacation to 5-6 months. Coming back in January of 2008. I really don't want to pay the 1400 for a 3 months unlimited eurorail pass when the 2 month in 15 days is half the price. I should be in europe though for 2.5 to 3 months. Don't count the first week since I'll have to train into belgium and pay a different fee since the global pass does not conver england.

In regards to the time off. I finished college as of April this year. I was doing a contract job that started in january 2006 and got extended up until july which i was let go. Originally I was looking to goto Laos only to meet some family since I've never traveled before then I started researching and I became inspired to do a lot more.

I will be returning to school to get a degree part time when January 2008 rolls in. So it's going to be a commitment which will make me stay put for at least 3-4 years which is why I want to take this shot while I have the chance.

I mean, no debt, no girlfriend anymore, no school to hold me back.

Heh and since then, I've researched some more and came across http://fullmoonparty-thailand.com/ I'll be attending 3-4 of those. Probably. Thailand/laos is fairly cheap, 16 canadian for a hutt right in front of a beach. No ac but a fan. AC hutts are like 20 canadian a night.

Oh just curious: how strickt is the dress code for the clubs in ibiza? do people wear sandals at all? running shoes? and do they allow cameras to be brought in?

Cool thread. In Munich visit the Olympic Stadium. Take a tour to one of the prestigious buildings in Germany, the BMW building :D
You missing out on Vienna. The hell with Prague, there's not much there to see. Yes there is old heritage buildings but that's about in any eastern european country. Detour to Vienna and see the beautiful Schonbrunn Palace. A palace with history of the Habsburgs dynasty.
