Hi folks,
Well, I'm starting to produce now and always loved the idea of producing a rework of Humate - Love Stimulation (pvd lovemix).
Here goes the link for download (its my 1st production, so if it sounds too crappy for you, lol... you'll know the reason :D ):
Humate - Love Stimulation (Lovemix Rework)
I'm a newbie with music productions and I'm looking for suggestions/oppinions to make the track sound better. First of all, I need to know which types of automations/fx/filters should be used to improve the track (the pad sounds boring to me, not so similar than the pvd lovemix and also the synth is too noisy) and I wanna know how to make it sound better. I already know that the hihats are a bit off-beat and I will fix that.
All the synth effects seems to sound the same sh*t, and I want to make it vary. I'm using FL Studio 7, z3ta VST and some FXs (Fruity Filter, FL Free Filter, Reverb, etc).
Thanks,

| Thanks for the feedback. I really want to improve the track but don't have ideas of automations/fxs/filters/etc... |

Pretty good for a first crack at a track, you could shorten the bass at the beginning, get a kick in sooner, I don't know that it needs that much automation really. Also, if you have the bass panned, unpan it! It might just be my earphones though.
Percussion's pretty good.
I assume you know how to automate the filter in z3ta? try maybe a little bit of that on the lead synth, give it more of an acid sound then bring it back to being more mellow again. That would be a good place to start for automation.
This is good work especially for a first track, keep it up!:D |

I have done the 2nd part of the track and would like to hear oppinions/suggestions to make it better (the breakdown sux I know it, lol... I just made it to finish all the track).
Check it out on my myspace page:

I don't have ideas left for this track atm and I'm looking for someone interested to work together to keep it up (if anyone interested please PM me).
Thanks,

Hello Rodrigo
Good work, but i know this bassline seq, Kaylab?? the synths are good, maybe percussion is for upgrading... you need more fx...
You must work, work and work!!

hey mate, jes, just keeeep on practicing! add more nd more drum fx through there, so that it becomes more lively... also if you add ambient textures under the track it'll sound fuller, nice melody you have there but you hav to keep on pushinG! you can automate the melody line, say, right before the end of 8 bars and you can squeeze the filter to a HP (high pass) and turn the knob ;) that way it'll be more dynamic....
but main thing is, be creative!
cheers and thanks for listenin to my tracks!!
