are you kidding me...don't be so serious. He went to japan to honor his brother, so what!!! If tawain was a ty little offshore island without any real economy, then china would barely give a about the place. Perhaps if Mao didn't oppress people to leave for taiwan this wouldn't be an issue.
This whole i-get-offended-if-you-do-other-than-i-say mentality is just stupid. I could see if it was something real, but visiting a shrine to honor your late brother who was forced into the japanese military is just petty and stupid. Little taiwan can't resist the chinese army, and there is no way the US will actually protect taiwan as it is required by some treaty. The US has way too much at stake to help taiwan agaist the chinese, namely that they hold a load of US treasuries, and they produce items the US long ago gave up manufacturing. |
