honestly man, i think people definitely overrate the whole checking id's thing. for space i went in a couple times using my neighbors duplicate id WITH MY NEIGHBOR THERE. mind you, he's like 80 lb heavier than i am and the only things we have in common are the fact we're white, and we both have dark hair/eyes.
just get someone that looks somewhat like you, memorize the info, look confident, and you should hopefully be okay. it helps if you know what bouncers are dicks, etc.
