this reminds me... i felt like wearing my Cure - Prayer Tour '89 t-shirt to Vision Saturday... so I did. One of the guys who works lighting or audio there says to me "I bet you can't name 5 Cure songs". I felt insulted - but he must have thought I was somebody that found this shirt at a flea market or something and thought it looked cool and bought it. I thought about it for a second and decided not to take his bet.. but, I couldn't just walk away, because then he would think he was right. so I had to "let him know".. I just said "I bet you I can name 40" and walked away. It was kind of a lame moment. And, how could I be a DM nut and not be a New Order nut as well? It's almost impossible. |
