The stuff about political correctness is bull, and it's ing up America. Australia however, is not far behind. It annoys the hell out of me.
A kid died in Australia the other day because he had an allergic reaction at kindergarten, and although there was an epinephrine pen close by which could have saved his life, the teacher decided not to use it because it was another child's and she didn't want to get sued.
People today are so precious, and aren't expected to take responsibility for themselves, which is why you can sue a coffee shop owner for serving you an overly hot coffee, or sue someone for falling over on their floor, even if you've broken into their premises illegally. It's just bull.
They need to give judges discretionary powers to curb this crap clogging up the courts. |
