awesome party! solid sets! the first two sets had great energy. also a nice intro to the venue for me. that one dude was definitely out of control... i'm glad someone took care of him.

chris and I were hanging around outside when that fool got thrown out. nice to know the full story there. yeah minus that drama, the night was a total blast! bummer i didnt formally get to meet some of you.

oh yeah, he's the one that checks id every night right? don't believe i saw him last night... no one else a fan of g&d's set? i really liked the sound of the first half, i thought they really hit it off strong. of course i got to hear eleven and moan so i was quite happy :D

I echo everyone's sentiment that it was a great night. Loved what I caught of retrobyte's set(the last hour)! The crowd was the best I've seen since... basically the last impromptu G&D/Armin/Spundae party at Mighty.

Can anyone ID the track that was played after Eleven? I might be wrong but I assume that it's a new track.

DaveT was as cool as a cucumber outside as he made sure that that a-hole was kept out of the club. T and the guys had it under control, though.

he was actually an azn guy, probably 5'10, 200+ in a gray button up. he wasn't swinging his arms out that far, but he was doing this stupid-looking charging hop dance with his elbows out that required him to take up the space of 5 people. the way he pushed me was like a hockey check leaning it with the shoulder followed by an elbow shove off. it was very much an intentional ' off' as opposed to an oops i bumped you! he did leave with 2 friends, i think one of them was a tall guy in a white shirt, maybe dave remembers. if you do happen to know him, tell him from me i hope he had an enjoyable ride home :)

Kewl, it wasn't him then. Cause I talked to a friend of mine this morning who was there last night and he said he got into a fight. He's actually a good guy but gets out of control when he's

I am not sure if it was before or after Eleven, but G&D played an frickin awesome remix of G&D - Sydney (Motorcycle - Without You....w/o the vocals). Rich got the ID on this one.

G&D also played Sutlan & Ned Shepard - Together We Rise. I am pretty sure it was the DJ Remy & Roland Klinkenberg Remix. I love that track!

Overall, I thought G&D's set was solid. Dave told me before they were gonna play a little different than usually. "Un-G&D like." Their first hour was def more impressive. I LOVED IT. I missed a part of the second hour while talking to Peter outside, but what I did hear wasn't as strong....but thought it was still good fun.

But the track of the night...

Harry Belafonte - Day 0 (Bassbin Twins Remix)

SO Q@(#HF#(FN# AWESOME.

Begged Pete to let me have it and he wouldn't budge....lol. Ripped the place apart with the track.

haha, darn I missed that. They aren't 1015 bouncers, but I'm sure it was definetly attention drawing.

nah you look fine! it was good seeing you again. same with fupaking and it was nice to meet holycow as well. for the other tas in the house, wtf where were you at?!? :whip:

anyway, i'm uploading a couple of vids i took. you can't really see anything, but you can hear the track pete dropped before moby - go - trentemoller remix and the one g&d dropped after g&d ft scarlett etienne - eleven.

the one before go!...

the one after eleven...

lex400sc
also have a vid of g&d playing paul woolford's erotic discourse mixed into a mashup of daft punk's da funk vs harder, better, faster, stronger :tongue3 which reminds me, sander k dropped deep flexion - emotions of the night - trent cantrelle remix on friday at ruby. i was really really hoping g&d would drop it too, since it is on their label :\

Yes, this is the one I was talking about. Thanks for the video, lex. What's the name of the track? I rarely remember tracks I haven't heard before, but this one stuck out in my mind after the show.

It was nice to meet you, lex & dave! I met one other person, but I already forgot his name... :conf: If you're reading, please remind me who you were (and it was nice to meet you too)!

I got there about 3 minutes before G&D came on. My flight was delayed multiple times, so by the time I'd eaten dinner etc. it was almost midnight. Anyway, I am SO GLAD I made it out! What a great set... and yeah, I'd never heard G&D spin like that before. :D
