US Sport Fatalities Rates

In 1984, R.J. McCunney and P.K. Russo published a study entitled Brain Injuries in Boxing. The study demonstrated that the U.S. sport with the highest number of deaths per 100,000 participants was horse racing:
Fatality rates per 100,000 participants
1. Horse racing: 128
2. Sky diving: 123
3. Hang gliding: 56
4. Mountaineering: 51
5. Scuba Diving: 11
6. Motorcycle racing: 7
7. College Football: 3
8. Boxing: 1.3

that's why i don't want to go sky diving. never understood the thrill. i think i would probably pass out from a panic attack while free falling and not come to in time to pull my strings. lol
no thanks.
my dad had so many scares with having to use his backup shoot and all that crap and he'd STILL go after that. :wtf: |

haha yeah i want to go but i KNOW ill be scared less so i dunno if ill ever end up going. |

Well, you can always get stabbed by a swordfish, marlin or stingray. Or maybe get the piss scared out for you by some swimming sushi and surface too fast and get an embellism.
Maybe your oxygen tank can blow up. |
