| I was trying something different with Joakin, the drummer. His percussion skills are off the charts, and I have played with him before, figured I would give it a shot. It was fun and intersting, and some loved it some didn't. He was only supposed to play for about 30 minutes during my set, which he did, but porter liked it so he asked him to play again. It's not a common thing for me, and I don't have any immediate plans to do it again, but from my view of the club, it certainly wasn't hurting things at the Fifth! But I understand it's not everyones bag. |

i know the intention man, i had a drummer for one of my outdoor party i did, its just that the drummer at the fifth was too loud, it overpowered the whole amplitude cuz he was feeling good and banging away, which would lead to some negative result.
Porterhouse 2005 was the best.

| well i am going on friday regardless of drummers or not...Eli = good dj and one of the nicest guys on the planet, Chris Micali is one of the most talented prouducers out just now and, tom bartlett is one of the nastiest dj i have ever heard - so underrated! Plus they bring out one of the best crowds @ rise when they play. |

Tae,,,Eli played some great ing tunes but the drummer ed it up for me,,what can I say????...Every mix sounded like a trainwreck because the drummer obviously didn't know the tunes...
When Porter came on there was two people on the drums..I could hear nothing except for bad drums... |
