You'll see it's not just Poland, two of the three EU "leaders" are also in there causing more "havoc" than Poland, with the UK having the most issues than any other state...
ps. You remind me of the other "nationalists" who have more extreme views on the issues than the people that actually live there - some of the Irish and Jews in America, or some of the Muslims in the UK for example. I see you flag says Russia but your location says different... |

WELL, DUH! I didnt say Poland is the ONLY country within EU thats causing havoc. Everyone has interests, and everyone is trying to score points here. But this thread is about Poland, right? I am not going to list and talk about other one million EU members and what they want and what they did, and what they're crying about. But what Poland is doing is very unorthodox and is definitely not going to succeed. Its a political strategy to win votes at home. They have plenty of power and things to look for, but are demanding too much. |

Win votes at home?!?!
Now I know you're taking the piss!
The Czech and Polish governments, by being anti-Constitution are going AGAINST what their citizens want!
69% of Poles WANT the Constitution!
GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU POST ANOTHER WORD
(And the reason I brought up the other countries is because you say Poland should leave the EU if it doesn't accept the PROPOSED voting system - should France and the UK leave too? As it stands, Poland, and every other EU member state, has the RIGHT to veto any amending treaty it does not agree with. Altho I disagree with their position, it is their RIGHT, as enshrined in the treaties, for Poland, or any other country, to block a Treaty they do not believe is in their interests to sign up to - please, for God's sake, just do some ing RESEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) |

Good for Poland. I didnt say anything about the Constitution. I just said that Polish Prime Minister, I repeat, Polish Prime Minister is trying to win public support at home by trying to come up with an excuse to blame the lower population of Poland on Germany of 1930s/1940s. Read it yourself: It was the Germans who inflicted unimaginable injury, terrible harm on Poland incomprehensible crimes and Poles like Germans, while Germans do not like Poles.
Do you actually even know what I am talking about here? Heck, if I was German I would be very pissed off and offended too. If Poland doesnt like the new amendment, it should just veto it, but saying stuff like that is just dumb and is not going to do Poland ANY good. THATS MY POINT. Poland is the agitator. Instead of thinking twice, their politicans ramble on and spew out dirty words that will come back and bite them in the arse later on. |

And why would that win him support at home? He's trying to justify a position that goes AGAINST what the Poles want - and yes, we are talking about the Constitution (or the amending treaty as it will now be) because this whole thread is about Poland's position on it...

You specifically said this is a "political strategy" referring to Poland's position on the Constitution/amending treaty... |

Possibly the most hypocritical and stupid post I've ever seen...
The DUTCH guy says the Poles are an "ungrateful people"
Yet it is the POLISH government who are taking this position AGAINST the wishes of their citizens
Not only that...
The Netherlands was one of two countries who wrecked the Constitution when their own CITIZENS voted against it! (The government, unlike the Polish government, was for the Constitution, but the Dutch citizens rejected it)
So I wonder what the Dutch idiot thinks about his own people? Will the Dutch idiot admit that his own people are a "ing joke"?
Because the post above clearly states that the poster certainly thinks the Dutch people are a "ing joke" and if they are anything like star-traveller then they probably are... |
