I found the way is just decent, nothing special at all 5/10
but..
Make Me Believe....what a TUNE

9.5/10
Especially the synth that comes in late in the track. Sensational.
Anyone else thinks this guy should be given more credit than his 'Anjunabeats signed' tag gives him?
Breathe was track of the year 06 for me, Child and Nova were pretty good, Turnmills when released is absolutely beautiful, and now this. |

| Yeh Make Me Believe is a bit of a gem. Great catchy melody which is a hallmark of all good Anjuna records. But it has that little bit of energy that makes it a cut above some of the also ran Anjuna releases |

| yeserp, haven't heard the new tracks but i deff. think that kandi should just leave anjuna and look for something more respectable and less commercial. mad props. |

how can you say this... anjunabeats is one of the most well known, biggest and respected trance labels there is, a perfect home for artists like daniel kandi who make that type of trance....
and btw, nothing beats child |

| Amazing release again from the man, personally I enjoy Make Me Believe more as well, but the b-side isn't bad! With that awesome remix of the Evbointh track still to come, he's rocking this year! Nova (Daniel Kandi vs Kris O'Neil Remix) is among my favs of the year so far ;) |

Whilst i don't listen to a lot of epic/melodic trace these days, Daniel Kandi is one of the few producers who make quality epic melodic productions. All his tunes are ace and i consider breathe, child and nova to be excellent pieces of melodic trance. Quality-wise "make me Believe" IMO doesn't match his previous releases (the ones i mentioned before)but nevertheless is a very good summery catchy melodic trance track. Melodic-wise is more cliche then his previous releases but still very good. The melody invokes the typical a-la 99 epic trance nostalgia (images of dawns, sea-shores and stuff lol) but it is very good in doing that. I especially like the moment where the lead-line is backed by a higher scale but nevertheless identical melody. The end result is quite powerfull.
Unfortunately, "i found the way" is not so good, probably due to the fact that the melody resembles the classic trance tune that is Tilt's "invisible", only with more oomph (=super-shaw), more arpeggiation and excellent "kandian" production (again, i like the point when a second high-pitched melody comes in, it gives the tune a somehow vast summery "open-space" feel). All in all good though. |

Respected, yes. Original, not so much. And I think that Kandi's tracks are far way superior and original than stuff release by super8 or tab for example. THAT is what I meant, he should look for a lable to represent his tracks better |
