yeah i love revolt. loved 'for a revolt' bootleg too! :D
that style i think can be described as the wetmusik sound. this form of techno in my opinion, is now outdated. :(
these days it can still be percussive but it got subtle melodies, deeper basslines, and not necessarily on 145bpm. :)
'the deep' is actually tech house. i'd like to think that progressive is actually a style and you can play any genre possible in a progressive set (which is why people like pappa or phil are mad khunts. :p)
