Two of Germany’s most respected artists deliver a stunning ep, which comes complete with a remix from Nic Fanciulli…
With over 100 releases tucked under his Teutonic belt, 2 record labels (Kling Klong & Sessions Deluxe), a radio show and a full DJ diary Martin Eyerer needs little introduction – he is arguably one of the busiest veterans on the German scene. Perhaps best known in the UK for his work alongside Chopstick, he now joins Renaissance with a new acolyte in tow, Sessions Deluxe partner Stephan Hinz. The result is a 3 track EP that looks set to ignite dancefloors round the world.
Title track of the same name ‘Tucan’ is pure dance nectar, a smart blend of deep, grumbling bass that undulates and intertwines with an emotive riff, a hint of glitch and an incredible break! Plus, if that weren’t enough, Nic Fanciulli has stepped-up to deliver one of the best remixes you are likely to hear all year.
Already finding favour with DJs such as John Digweed and Sander Kleinenberg, expect to hear a lot of this tune throughout the forthcoming Ibiza season.
Last but not least we have ‘Apollo’, a rollercoaster soundclash of FX, bass and mid which will no doubt find a happy home in the dark, twisted hours of the weekend.
