I had a xone 62, and sold it and bought a djm800.
I'd swap my djm800 for a xone 92 anyday. There is just something special about allen & heath mixers.

You aren't biased at all with that avatar ;)
Hehe, I like the Xone's too. The build quality and solidness just isn't the same on the Pio's, though the 800/1000 is much better than their previous mixers.

yeah i had a djm 600 before the xone 62.
The filters and the build quality are where the xone excels. The pioneers just don't come close. |

In the last two weeks I've playd out on an 800 and a 92 on seperate nights, almost one after the other, and I think I've decided that I still like the 92 better. As has been said before, the filters and build really just make me feel great everytime I play on one, and the only downside are the absolutely wretched upfaders on it - I don't know why they chose to cheap on those. If you get a 92, get a rotary.
I really, really do like the 800 though. The EFX are rock solid and easy to use, the build quality is better than I've seen from Pioneer before, and I wish I could learn how to use the sound-coloring effects, because I think that could be pretty neat as well. |

I don't think the upfaders on the Xone's are bad at all!
I had (still have actually) the 92 rotary, just got the 3D. Would've preferred the rotaries, but really the upfaders are pretty damn nice.
They seem to be good enough for PVD and Digweed, so we shouldn't be complaining :) |
