So let me get this straight, you have not been paying anything to this guy so you want to make issue of it and maybe be on the hook for 20% of a several thousand dollar dental bill? Makes sense to me man. |
yeah well we're in June right now, and he's used up 84% of my yearly dental maximum already. I got half the year to go with basically pennies left in my insurance - next thing you know he'll ring the insurance another K and half of it will spill over into my pocket. |

Are you looking for drama in your life? Just go get your teeth cleaned, don't say anything, and call the insurance company when you get home. |

If he is really scamming your insurance and filing false claims do you think he is really going to continue to do this to the point where you have to pay out of pocket? no, because then you are going to get pissed and bring it to the attention of your insurance company. |

+1 good advice. I wouldn't mention one word to him. Just tell your insurance company. What if you got knocked in the mouth and you need more dental work. This guy is taking all your coverage! |

so by your logic i should just keep quiet and be happy. Then this guy will run out of to fix in my mouth and start making up cavities. Point is - I can't trust someone as a dentist if they're SCAMMING my insurance. Get it? |

He can't foresee a chipped tooth or something in October so if that happens Stan will be screwed... |

| My dentist is awesome in this sense. Even though my insurance only covers 70 or 80% I still never have to pay a cent. The guy also does free X-rays for some and I've seen him give on-the-spot discounts to people w/o insurance. He's not even expensive to begin with. :D |

see, I need a dentist like that. I'm Russian so maybe I should just start going to Russians, they're always much more straight forward about the money in all this. |

Right, if you don't trust him get a new dentist. Either way, I wouldn't go in there accusing him of . All the charges could be legit or an honest mistake. Filing insurance claims is a complex process. You go in there saying "why are you screwing my insurance" and a guy who was cutting you a break by not charging you a copay might no longer be as nice to you. |

oh no, I'm not gonna go in there acting like I'm about to beat someone's ass. I'll simply state that I have some questions and would like to clarify what these charges are for and if they were a mistake. IF he cannot give me a straight answer or attempts to convince me that it's ok as long as i'm not getting charged, I'm outta there and calling the insurance company. |
