hahahhaha yeah i thought i was the only one who that that two my mate was like omg you have to see this movie and it ing sucked.
john digweed cant act for .
anyway i think plur is one of those nice stories that you can babble out for the origins of dance music etc.
in reality it does seem a bit hypocritical but you have to admit
dance parties/events have such a good vibe... never any fight and ... and if thats the e's or the vibe or both who cares works!!!!! |

i agree with u that the idea is ideal but i dont think its unobtainable... personally i think the concept is a possible self achievment but as a world or an universal movement, it might be abit too ideal. and no im not candyraver nor a 13yr old naiive happy go lucky girl. im quite infamous for being damn skeptic, but, this concept of P.L.U.R. actually makes sense to me . maybe the reason i dont find it hard to believe that ppl actually are drawn to the idea of PLUR is b/c there are different religions such as Jainism of the Indian beliefs that practice the idea of PLUR in one form or another. maybe the fundaments of most religions are similar as to those of PLUR... anyhow, my point being that the concept PLUR when not associated with music or 'the scene' and used not universally but solely for the purpose of bettering our individual selves, i think its practical. and personally i try to follow that concept myself. i think to me its like a religion or a belief of a religion.
eg: in my mind, hate and such negative words are abused badly to the point that it has lost its value and the original meaning. hate is such a powerful word to me that i can not think of a person that i use it toward. instead i try to be nice and think of the well being of that person... wouldnt that be an interpreted form of P.L.U.R. in the act? :eyes:
but yes it annoys the hell outa me when i see lil kiddies beat that idea to death just b/c they are all rollin and their chemical balance is off  or candyravers who think they appreicate the true meaning ofPLUR ..like this dude :whip: :whip: ----> http://www.hyperreal.org/raves/spirit/plur/PLUR.html
sorry if i sound like im just blurtng out giberish...

i do not think any of us believe that the message is bad in itself, but it is a load of 'bollocks' since it just doesn't happen.. |

P.L.U.R. = People Look Ugly Rolling
*shivers* This word makes me puke. It sends pictures of e-tards rolling on the ground and candyravers sucking on pacifiers. Ahhhhh...the good old days... Yeah, I'll admit it, but I know I'm not the only one here that was a former candykid. |

Hahhaha I agree ... it reminds me of myself about 3 or 4 years ago when I actually believed in this and was drugged out as hell. I agree, PR and possibly U should most certainly remain alive now and forever. However, L is reserved for the select few that earn it ... not the random yahoos you meet on the fly when under he influence. |
