what kind of pitch program are they using what are they doing .

arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

please help people.

Slower the tempo of the track (or pitch it down) for the time of recording vocals. Then bring it back up and pitch the vocals up accordingly.

Pitch shift never sounds nice if the lenght of the sample doesn't change accordingly.

That's why you should record the vocals with slower tempo. So when you pitch it up, it stays in the tempo of the track even when the lenght changes.

Most sequencers today have some sort of time stretching function. Read your manual.
