Anybody know where I can find vector logo of the background shown here: http://www.paulvandyk.de/images/prepage.gif ?

Load up Photoshop and use the magic wand tool.
Out of interest, Why do you need it? I once did a mock up front cover for a project I was working on

Most labels have high-res or vector formats of their logos in the Press section. Look for 'press kits' or something like that.

(I just looked and I couldn't find one... good luck. Maybe tracing it will be faster.)

I also looked for it on Vandit website and couldn't find it :(

Good point. Whack it in illustrator and trace the whole logo. Would take time, but this method would work...

More than a few years ago there was a thread here where people were sharing all kinds of logos: artists, labels, events, etc. I contributed by tracing the PvD logo.

The following zip-file contains two hi-res PNG's (black background and white background): http://senduit.com/b47a46
