Hi,
I've been browsing this forum for a while now and I learned a lot about making trance sounds and mixes. As this is my first post, I just wanted to let you people know that this forum is very, very valuable. You can consider me as an amatuer trance producer who just loves to play around with beats, saws and emotions.
Now, my question. What VST freeze modules do you use withing Fruityloops? Are there any that don't crash the system?
Thanx! |

Ah! I first thought you were talking about GRM Tools Freeze VST :) Unfortunately I couldn't help you coz I use Cubase and Freeze function is alredy integrated. |

I use FX Freeze with Fl Studio 6. It works pretty good, no crashes or anything. I've had a few problems with it, sometimes the tracks have glitches in them after they freeze. All in all it works pretty well though.
Are there any other Freeze programs? I never really looked around. I thought FX Freeze was the only one. |

Well, FX Freeze is the one I tried. And it is also the one that crashes my system when I start freezing. I try to keep my system clean for music , but maybe indeed the problem is my system...
Are there other people to experience this crashing and found a solution? |

With FL Studio you can also 'smart disable' effects, I'm using it often to save some processing power.
Not sure about this FX Freeze thing though... Looks like it'd make things too complicated. |

Yup.. particularly with fl studio 7.. even on my old legacy system (3.0 ghz p4) it seems to run my projects alot more efficiently than previous versions.
